Can someone please explain to me.... Why do I need Norton Anti-Track if Norton 360 is supposed to delete Tracking Cookies automatically?
I have just had a pop-up from Norton to say that I have over 100 trackers on my system and that I need to further subscribe to have these removed!
Is Norton shifting goalposts and removing software from the original package to create so-called new additional parameters to their 360 which was meant to cover EVERYTHING - ie 360degrees !!!

Tracking cookies are cookies, i.e. text files dropped on browsers, that are able to record data about the user of that specific browser, such as his or her actions on a site, browsing activity, purchases and preferences, IP address and geographical location, and the like.
Usually, this information is used for targeted marketing, to direct and display advertisements as precisely as possible to relevant segments of the internet users, that is, potential customers.
