norton utilities update

Hi,

I have been running Norton Utilities for a few years now with no problems, but with yesterdays update it is now asking me for an 'activation key'.  I have clicked on the 'product details' box and it shows: Version 21.4.5.428,  PSN- not activated, 'service status/expiration date/days remaining' ~all showing no entries.  Looks like this update has put me from 'Utilities' to 'Utilities Premium?', and asking for payment??

I think my problem is related. I use Norton 360 on five devices. I received a popup message asking me to update my Norton Ultimate, which I didn't own. What it did is charge my credit card on file and ask me to install the program. I don't want the program. I just want my money back. Chat support was worthless. It's almost a scam to get you to purchase another program. I have trusted Norton since before 2013. I don't like this change in the way they do business. I don't want to have to be suspicious of every email I get from Norton.

@patcriscito  When you say chat is useless, are you just referring to the chat bot? If so, when you get to any point you can enter information, just type agent please. That usually gets me past the bot to a live agent.

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to try those exact words next time. I kept getting forward to videos and all kinds of things that didn't have anything to do with my problem. Pat
