How to erase or isolate an DVD-drive (F:) from downloaded img-file

Hi all,

I downloaded and scanned an img.-file which installed itself as an "DVD-drive (F:) company data" on my PC.

How can I delete this safely or isolate it?

My Norton Product is Securitiy Deluxe.

My PC is working with Windows 10 Home, 64-bit version 21H1.

Thanks a lot for helping...

I believe w10 natively supports disc image mounting function under Windows Explorer (File Explorer).  So you didn't "install" the image file but instead mounted it in the virtual disc drive.  To remove it, just unmount the disc image.

So anyway, is this downloaded disc image legitimate?  I mean, are all files inside this image clean without virus and such?
