Cannot review or address Risks detected in device security report on iPhone

I purchased Norton 360 for my iPhone in order to correct strange behavior. In the report it shows 11 risks detected but I am unable to review them or correct them Like my husbands android does. How do I access the risks and resolve them on my iPhone?

Re: Cannot review or address Risks detected in device security report on iPhone

Android and iOS devices have different feature sets. That is why he is able to click on the risks on his device.

Generally, the only risks I get notified for are for iOS updates. There is no link included in iOS to see what has been detected. But one thing to keep in mind is that there is no malware protection in Norton 360 on an IOS device. See this article from howtogeek . com for an explanation of why it is not necessary.

So malware would not be included in your risks.

Have you checked in the main 360 iOS interface to see if anything is being reported there? Network connections, or maybe Dark Web Monitoring alerts?

Re: Cannot review or address Risks detected in device security report on iPhone

Thank you for replying :) I just opened up Norton on a laptop and we have issues on our 5 other devices associated with same account as our smart phones, just computer performance related items. My iPhone says protected and nothing else. I think my husbands android might have been the one acting strangely in texts to my phone so hopefully that’s what was the issue. I read the article in the link you provided and kinda thought I knew iPhone didn’t need antivirus but I freaked out and bought 14.99 for a year on my phone :/ I do everything on my iPhone so I was being a bit overprotective so I can just not renew and chalk it up to a TIL moment :) thanks again!

You are welcome.

iOS devices are inherently safe. What 360 offers is protection against phishing or malicious web sites, and is supposed to help filter out phishing and scam SMS messages. I cannot vouch for the SMS protection because I receive very few texts and only from and to known associates and family members.
