Norton clean won't run

Norton clean won't finish on my computer. Catalina 10.15.7 Shows error try later. Have tried multiply times over several months with same result. Trying to run it in hopes of speeding up my Mac which has gotten painfully slow.

Try updating your OS to the newest possible version. Also have you run these steps: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v123986598
