Can't login to norton account on new computer

I just got a new laptop and am setting it up. I keep trying to login to my norton account on it so I can download the software (I am covered for multiple devices on my account and have not used all my slots).

When I enter my username and password and click enter, it sends me a verification code on my phone, which then enter. But once I do this, it just takes me back to the login screen. I have no problem logging into my norton account on my other computer, though.

I need help with this so I can get the virus protection installed on my new computer.

Hello Roxxsmom. Are you on Windows 1 Home or Pro? There are differences in the settings that need to be changed at initial setup. Did your new computer come with ANY antivirus software installed at setup? If so please remove it and restart the computer. From there, what browser are you using, and are there any updates for the OS that are pending install? If there are install them all and restart again. Windows 11 is a royal PITB to setup mainly due to the settings in Defender preventing third party antivirus solutions from installation. Microsoft has made it extremely clear, they want you to use THEIR solutions and go to great extremes to ensure users get frustrated enough to do so.
