Can't download file when log into a site via Password Manager

If I log into a site via Password Manager on my mobile, I can't download a file from that site. A pop up msg says "Cannot open more tabs. Please close unused tabs to maintain smooth browser experience. Ok". I get this pop up even if all tabs are closed. But if I log into a site on my mobile NOT via Password Manager I can download files with no issues. I also have no issues downloading files via Password Manager on my laptop. So download issue only occurs on my mobile when logging into site using Password Manager.

Are you using the browser built into Norton Password Manager, NPM? If so try clearing the app data for NPM. 

Try going into Android Settings - Apps. Scroll to the NPM app and clear the app cache and app Data. Restart the device. You will have to log back into your Norton Account and then into your vault after this reset.

Then test to see if things work properly.

Thanks for reply. I wasn't using the NPM browser so I made it my default, cleared the cache & data & restarted but unfortunately didn't work. Msg came up saying starting download but then notification saying download unsuccessful. Thanks anyway!

What device and Android version are you using?

What NPM version do you have?

What browser were you using when you first saw this issue? 

Did you always have this issue, or did it just start recently?

Samsung A50 version 11. NPM version 8.0.0.2785. Issue happened on Chrome initially so I tried Samsung & Norton browsers but had same issue. I've only tried to download in last few months through NPM and it's never worked. Thanks
