Since Latest Update, Idle Time Tasks Keep Screen On Constantly

Every time I walk away from the computer (running Windows 10), the idle time tasks start, and they never finish. For some reason, since the latest update (which I don't like, by the way...), the screen is never allowed to go dark. This isn't a good thing since it is using extra battery and power, not to mention CPU and memory. I have read suggestions to uninstall and reinstall, which I did yesterday. I have changed the idle time settings. Nothing helps! I have cancelled my auto renewal, and will not be deleting this product and looking for something else that is not trying to sell me "stuff" when this subscription is done. I used to rely on Norton and tell everyone to use it, but I have had some issues in the past few months that this has not found, but running another program has found them. Norton needs to spend less time finding ways to tkae our money and more time trying to fix their issues.

Hello CMD. Make sure your task scheduling is set to "manual".
