Network Monitoring on Mac

I would love to activate Network monitoring on all my devices but my mac is the only one that offers it. However, when I try to set it up Norton does the long load screen after hitting continue to the network monitor prompt. Does anyone know of a way to get this feature confirmed for any platforms?
