Can't find close vault selection on new Edge Password extension

Hi, can you help? The password extension on Edge browser seems to have changed and I can't find any info on how to log out /close it.

Did you try 3 horizontal bars -> Lock Vault -> Sign out


Did you try closing browser session?
When I close browser session.  NPM vault is locked.  Signed is as is retained.

Hi Permalink, Thanks, yes, the vault lock and on unlock the close selection was available but seems a long-winded way of closing the vault. Think this is a backward step by Norton, gave a try of your other idea of closing the web browser but the vault was still open when you re-open the Edge browser as it is with Chrome the extension.

try turning off = Continue running background extensions [...]

 try turning off = Continue running background apps [...]

FWIW ~ When I close Edge/Chrome session.  NPM vault is locked.  Signed is as is retained.

Hi Xantia,

Sorry for the inconvenience .

You can close vault from the dashboard page as well.

Click on account icon next to the email address.

In the drop down menu you will have an option to lock vault. The text has been changed to "Lock vault"  from  "Close vault"

If you want to directly sign-out of your Norton Account, go to settings and click on Sign-out

Thanks for info that Lock Vault is the new Close vault, pleased it's just a name change and easy to do. Guess this will be the same on the new Chrome Password Extension that I see has been posted on the community dashboard. 

Just to also add thanks to bjm_ and sorry for getting your forum name wrong but don't have to post much on the community
