Mac scheduled scans don't run and manual full scan never finishes

Using Norton 360 for Mac with the latest macOS (Ventura 13.0.1). The scheduled scans never run and when I try to run a manual full scan it runs for days until eventually it reports a scan error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times but that hasn't helped. Quick scan works fine.
