"Browser Extension Disabled." Is it that easy??

Is it really that easy for my teenagers to go to their settings and disable Norton? Everyday I get this notification:  "Browser Extension Disabled." But they swear to me they are not doing it. And even if they ARE doing it, should that even be a possibility? Shouldn't it be password-protected to disable (under "Extensions")? Help!

What browser extension are you referencing? Are you using a Windows version running in S mode that only supports apps vice actual programs?
