Upgrading 18 year old

I’m new to this forum. I use many forums for other things. This one is pretty convoluted and I’m not able to find what I actually need. could someone point me to where the Norton forum for Lifelock is. I knew when Norton bought LifeLock It wasn’t going to be good. there’s a reason why I stop using Nortons antivirus. my issue is my kid turned 18 and I need to upgrade his Lifelock account for him. I was not able to do that with the app on iPhone, nor on the desktop because of some error or something to do with Trans Union or other credit bureaus. After 40 minutes trying to get a hold of someone in telephone support with a Lifelock person he finally Told me to call the credit agencies because it was a problem there. I called the credit agencies in spent another hour on the phone talking to them. We went over my kids demographic information and they found no problem at their end. I’m searching out alternative products to Lifelock. The only reason why we got it was because the federal government got hacked in my IRS data was taken. Mike

Re: Upgrading 18 year old

I do not think there is a separate forum for LifeLock. There is a forum called other Norton products.

Other Norton Products/Services | Norton Community

Many here do run Norton antivirus but not use any LifeLock products except for those bundled with Norton 360.

Good luck with your issue and sorry to hear about the hack you have experienced.

Re: Upgrading 18 year old

Hi Dad, I am Grand-Dad, and have had many similar probs in setting up/maintaing /securing my famiiy's accounts in Norton. I just finished updating/securing all my info using Norton Privacy Mgr and LifeLock under my Norton account.

It was quick and easy to find/ optout of all personal info for my accounts (on multiple computers!). But if the "kids" are gone, you might try LifeLock trial to find/fix  probs with their info, then suggest what they should be using.  Or setup accounts billed to you for them. I just did it for me, and my 40-yr olds can figure it. Come to think of it, I need to update/cancel  my wife's Nortons on my current computers?

It takes multiple steps to find/setup /use the features you want, and the robot/security verifications are tedious, but it does work well if you follow thru until you get back to "congrats-success" prompt from the various Norton apps.

Great job on having birds fly the nest!
