Norton Firewall

I have a legit steam game installed on my PC. Which is having issues with connecting with co-op game mode. So is there any way to exclude those game files or change some options to ensure that Norton firewall is not conflicting with it. Any idea about such option to ensure that Norton firewall is completely allowing that game and has no issues with it. I am not 100% sure that its conflicting but it might be the case. Appreciate your response to this query of mine.

As peterweb posted, a VPN is the one thing which will block steam and games from connection to a remote game server. The Norton Firewall screenshot below is WITHOUT any VPN running with steam. I never use one. Have zero issues no matter the game.

If you have the VPN active, that could be interfering with game play. 

You can test for firewall interference by right clicking on the Norton icon in the system tray and click on Disable Smart Firewall and test. If you are still seeing the issue it is not the firewall.

I checked after running the app. Its allowed by Norton Firewall.
