My son has an android samsung and continues to use his phone after the time restriction. He says he's able to drag down from the top when receiving a notification and continue to use that window to message etc.
In addition the location finder rarely works when choosing "locate now" even though his phone is on and location permission is granted.

In order to prevent your child from interacting with notifications from a specific app, we kindly request you to disable notifications for that particular app from the Settings Menu. Please feel free to refer this document for assistance in this regard.
We also appreciate you for bringing the "Locate Now" issue into our notice. We will look into it and be back with a fix soon.
