This is rather confusing, at least to this old timer, and I hope that I can explain this correctly.
My Norton Secure Browser has two almost identical extensions, the two named in the subject. At first, they appear the same but under closer examination, the “regular, non-plus” states under Site Access: Allow this extension to read and change all your data on website you visit. I can change this because there are three options.
The ”Plus” extension states: This extension has no additional site access. There are no options, I cannot change this.
The “Plus” came “Pre-installed by NortonLifeLock Inc”. The “non-Plus” I believe I installed because I vaguely remember the browser reminding me to install a couple of extensions.
The regular “non-Plus” extension can be completely removed (although I bet, I would start getting a reminder to install it again”.
The “Plus” extension cannot be removed, only disabled.
Norton, what is going on here? Very confusing. Any comments from this forum would be welcomed, thank you.
