imap support

I realize Symantec is considering supporting Thunderbird (Mozilla) I use Thunderbird in conjuction with my various email accouints and with my iPhone all in an imap configuration.

So I was wondering, is it possible to support email clients that utilize imap?

This is a requirement we have considered but it did not make the cut so far. Any more votes to boost it up? :-)
