I need HELP on Norton Ghost 2003 Update build 789 to build 793

Hello  comunity,

I need HELP on  Norton Ghost 2003 Update build 789 to build 793

what I have done:

I have allready read and followed up the instructions from the page "http://service1.symantec.com/Support/sharedtech.nsf/docid/2007010219171513"

Settings live Updater:

- Ghost. 2003.789 German

- live update Option is set to EXPRESS

- operating System windows 7

Files C:\Program Files\Symantec\LiveUpdate\:

- 2 FILES :

-  (1) "1.Settings.Hosts.LiveUpdate ... Date 09.09.2003" (dd.mm.yyyy)

-  (2) "2.Settings.Hosts.LiveUpdate.... Date 14.08.2002"  (dd.mm.yyyy)

- screen shut :

what i have done:

- renamed File (1) to "Settings.Hosts.LiveUpdate ... Date 09.09.2003" (dd.mm.yyyy)"

- run Symantic live update from ghost

- RESULT: the updater said i am up to date with build 789... in nother words i

- all suggestion are welcome

- maybe someone have the update package on HD an let me download it or send it to me

I thought build 789 was the latest version of Ghost 2003.

NO................. cut a long story stort

I SOLVED the problem after 2 DAYS hard WORK ............. unbelievable.... never ever taken me that long to update a Program

1. goto http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/sharedtech.nsf/docid/2007010219171513?Open&src=w

Details how to use it:

Pic 3 : View Win-Explorer C:\Programs .....

Finally it should look like this

run luall.exe and choose Symantec Archive

Depending on ur Symantec installation u may have to download the following Programs to

--- "piupdate.exe" ( checks if the live updater is up to date)  and " lusetup.exe" ( installer for live Updater )

--- u will find them by searching their pages right hand upper corner

dang that took me allmost 1.5 hours to create... why Symantec could make it easier

SYMANTEC programs are one of the best

SYMANTEC service and buisness politics ( over 9 EURO/ min telfone support ) are one the worse I ever have expirenced
