I would like to know if Symantec Norton will still support Windows Xp for their new Antivirus release 2013?
Definitely yes . Compatibility and support issues are related ,generally, the release of new operating systems. Symantec is developing products for earlier versions of operating systems and for those to be launched . So certainly you'll still enjoy the technical support.
All the best.
I have to agree with Lexionline, especially since currently XP's end of life support is scheduled for April 8th, 2014.
I don’t want to risk a debate , but obviously that things will flow as I mentioned,my dear regular contributor . I did nothing more than express an opinion and opinions should’t be conditioned by rank.

I'll chime in and say I sure hope NIS 2013 will be compatible with XP. That's what I run until I'm able to get a new system by next year.

Nothing official BUT,
I fully expect Norton products to support all of the versions of the operating systems that Microsoft supports. Once Microsoft withdraws support then it's a matter of market share. Versions with many users will continue to be supported for as long as practical. It gets harder and harder to protect an operating system that isn't being updated.
