Norton 360 ESD and TW

There are two links to download the new version Norton 360 :

1. http://buy-download.norton.com/downloads/2013/20.1.1/N360/US/N360-ESD-20-1-1-2-EN.exe

2. http://buy-download.norton.com/downloads/2013/20.1.1/N360/US/N360-TW-20-1-1-2-EN.exe

What do these letters:

TW ?

How are they different ?

N360-ESD-20-1-1-2-EN.exe  and  N360-TW-20-1-1-2-EN.exe

Re: Norton 360 ESD and TW

Hi John,

Welcome to the Norton Community!

Sorry for the confusion!

There are two ways you can purchase the Norton products.

1) ESD version

2) Retail version

  • ESD stands for Electronic Software Download, which is nothing but the Norton product that you purchase from our www.symantec.com website with license. [Electronically Downloadable version]
  • Retail Version is nothing but the CD version of Norton product that you purchase from the local store like Best Buy, Costco, Staples, Fry's etc.
  • Now, TW stands for Trial Ware, This is also similar to the ESD version (a downloadable version) but you are not purchasing a license. A Norton Trial Ware will be valid for 15 Days or 30 Days. [You can Activate it with your valid Norton 360 Product key]

Your Norton 360 Product key should work with both these versions.

Please let me know if you have more questions.
