Norton Security

The User keep getting a 0x8XXXXX type error when sending or receiving email. When I disable the AV Email scanner all works but then she is unprotected. What is wrong with the AV Email scanner? It is occurring on 2 pc's till date.

Hi Phillip,

Please add information on the version of Norton you are using such as the beta build or retail version. Also add your operating system version such as Win 7 Ultimate 32-bit or Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Is your email program a Microsoft application or something else such as Gmail? The more details you provide, the more likely a community member will have a solution.

Phillip, your details were helpful. Have you contacted Support to resolve the problem? 

You have a 2015 retail version of Norton, but are sending and receiving messages at Norton's beta site for testing Norton Security compatibility with Windows 10. Some users here will be familiar with using Norton and Microsoft Outlook, but unfortunately, I am not one of them.
