Cloudflare DNS

As we already have the option to choose between multiple DNS Settings, adding Cloudflare's DNS would make perfect sense as it is faster than every other DNS and it supposedly stores no private information about your browsing history. Further reading: https://1.1.1.1/ Maybe 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 will be added as another alternative DNS to choose from.

Re: Cloudflare DNS

One can only wish!!! There is a new firmware version out there but isn't being driven to ALL Core users at the moment. I'm still looking for it to appear just to see what has changed. Along with the DNS setting I to am hoping for the ability to manually remove devices from the network which will no longer appear there. Being that I work on systems within my home and on my Core network the list gets full very quickly.

Cheers

Re: Cloudflare DNS

Well, I‘m apparently one of the selected people to actually have FW 237 already - it works fine, but does not offer Cloudflare‘s DNS nor your wish to manually remove devices. Sorry for any spoilers.

Re: Cloudflare DNS

Hello denegare

You are the first customer who has mentioned that they had received the 237 firmware considering it has been released since last Thursday. Thanks for the positive feedback. Perhaps that information will help Core community be completely up to date. The rest of us might have positive feedback also if given the chance to get the firmware.. I also realize that this new firmware may not have anything in it that would help me. I would still like to have my program up to date.

Have a Nice Day and

Thanks.

Re: Cloudflare DNS

I also have 237 installed, looks like it updated 6 hours ago.  The only issue I continue to run into is the Vonage box losing connection every few days, need to restart Core to get it back.  Now with 237 installed, I'll see if that bug stops raising it's head.  Yes, being able to enter user defined DNS setting would be great.  The Core product has worked well for me overall.

Hello

I now have 237 firmware, but it hasn't fixed my issues.

Re: Cloudflare DNS

Nothing changed here either. Adding CloudFlare DNS is nothing more than a pipe dream at this point. We cannot get the simple things resolved much less adding features.

Cheers
