Core Blocks many web sites on my phone.

First of all this site  is deem safe https://www.sjpl.org/. The public library!  My core i on its basic settings.  However the website can only be view from my laptop.  I cannot log in via phones s4 s5 iphone samsung ipad etc.  If i turn off wifi on my phone it will work fine.   Now this is one of many sites that does this.   Can I set my core  to allow    a single device or tablet to view all sites? Or will  I have to submit each web sites that I have problems with! (I have no time for this.  How can  I resolve this with the least amount of hassles. Core told me last night the mobile devices cannot view certain websites. (  mostly wrong)

Have you just started seeing this blocking? Check the parental controls in the Core app to see if your mobile devices are being restricted.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Norton Password Manager data.

There are no Parental controls set up, all devices have full access.  I heard of  problems like these before purchasing the core  hence I did not want to restri anything and the see   what issues arises.

I have no problem bringing up the website.  I didn't login because I don't have login.  Is your problem doing the login?

Re: Core Blocks many web sites on my phone.

I'd say the issue with this specific site is not with Core since I can get to the site perfectly on both PC and mobile. Mobile screenshot provided below using Edge browser on Android. Change your mobile browser and see if the other sites continue to be blocked. Also look into your Core notifications and check for the specifics about WHY these were being blocked by Core.

Re: Core Blocks many web sites on my phone.

I will try again today.  Again many sites will not load unless I turn wifi off. I wonder  what the settings out of the box is as I have not added any restrictions. I makes no sense when 7 other mobile devices will not work while on my desktop and windows tablet , laptop  works fine.    I have tried this with a few other websites as well.    I  might plan on bridging with a normal modem, connect the core  as secondary  but have the kids and guest access through the core only....

Re: Core Blocks many web sites on my phone.

TLK. The best way to use Core is having your ISP modem first inline then Core connected to it via its WAN port. If your modem can be bridged do so with it to the Core. Separate your 2.4 / 5GHz wireless networks with separate SSID's and passcodes. Reserve the 5 GHz for streaming devices, normal traffic on the 2.4. In settings you can also set your DNS value to ISP, Core will automatically identify those values and may restart. Your default DPI (deep packet inspection) should be the recommended. On my ISP device I set the DNS values to the CloudFlare . Core sings along like a charm, zero issues. Give it a go and see if things change.

OK I resetted the  router and things seems to be back to normal.   and it did seem to happen within the last week or so  and I am assuming  I need to reset  it everything couple weeks or so..

Re: Core Blocks many web sites on my phone.

Thanks for the feedback. Did you use CloudFlare DNS settings in the ISP modem/router as suggested? My ISP hasn't complained about the change (Verizon FIOS) and Core hasn't either. TV and VOIP work like a charm as well.
