    boolean, It's impossible for an OS to assign the C: drive letter to two partitions at the same time. The booted OS assigns the drive letters. There is no C: drive when the computer is turned off.

    Thanks. That's fine as your booting files are in the OS partition. If the booting files aren't in the OS partition then the OS partition is not the Active partition. Does the cloned OS boot?

    There's a fair chance what you have done won't work. Booting files placement. Sorry to say this for the third time. Disk Management.
