Competitor's product still detects NPE as malicious, even after they were notified.

I just re-checked VirusTotal and found out that your competitor, VIPRE, still detects the latest version of Norton Power Eraser as being "infected" by "NooleySystemsRogue.SpyWareNo (fs)." As you explained in your previous reply, VirusTotal scanners aren't necessarily set with the same preferences as the desktop versions of those scanners, but I contacted Vipre twice and never heard back from them.
This is to be expected, since I neither am a Vipre customer nor am affiliated with you... I figure they are only obligated to respond to their paying customers, although they should respond to the software developer, that is, you, if you were to contact them directly. Also, it turns out that Vipre is not some fly-by-night operator, but is owned by the same people that own Ziff-Davis (ZDNet).
It's unusual for a false-positive from a reputable vendor to last for four months, so what I would suggest is for an actual Norton/Symantec employee to please ask them what it is about your product that is triggering this detection? Thank you.
