I never got the crypto mining addition. I'd love to make sure it is disables and not hiding in the NEW Nortons 360

Okay, I read the FAQ. Does this mean it will not show up at all, or simply be disabled. I simply want clarification

I didn't get the Crypto mining addition. I've uninstalled. Reinstalled. WIN 10 x64--21H2 I have an iGPU 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz 2.42 GHz Does it skip GPUs that can't mine? I'd LOVE TO MAKE SURE IT ISN"T RUNNING IN THE BACKGROUND. PLEASE HELP ME

Do you find:
C:\Program Files\Norton Security\Engine\22.22.2.10\NCrypt.exe

Norton Crypto is opted-out by default.   Norton Crypto is an opt-in feature.
Norton Crypto is currently not available in all countries.

Learn more about Norton Crypto
By default, Norton Crypto is turned off. You need to manually turn it on. Follow the below instructions to turn on Norton Crypto and start mining.

What is Norton Crypto?

Norton Crypto is a feature made available in Norton 360 which you can utilize for mining cryptocurrency when your PC is idle. Currently, Norton Crypto’s availability is limited to users with devices that meet the required system requirements.

Will Norton 360 mine my device without my permission?

No. In addition to having a device that meets system requirements, you must also turn on Norton Crypto on your device. If you have turned on Norton Crypto, but you no longer want to use the feature, you can disable it through your Norton Crypto dashboard.

If you don't see the green tile at the top of your Norton 360 dashboard, then your GPU is not viable to mine and therefore does not even show the option to "opt-in." You are opted-out by default regardless of whether you have a GPU capable of mining or not.
