How to lock settings of my Android phone?

Norton applock does not seem to allow me to lock access to my Samsung phone's settings! This seems strange, how can I lock this most essential feature? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Peter, I uninstalled, reinstalled, gave all the permissions and now it doesn't work at all. If a Norton product doesn't work with a new Samsung (A22) and Android 11, I prefer to give up. Thanks for trying to help, best regards.

EDIT TO MY ORIGINAL POST ABOVE: I just discovered that by accessing the list of apps through the unprotected settings of my phone, I could uninstal Norton Applock in just one second, by clicking on "uninstall", without encountering any lock screen, and thus leaving all my apps unprotected!!! I am utterly flabergasted! Is Norton a complete joke?

Are other apps getting protected as expected?

Check the information in this thread and look for the Appear on top setting in Android Settings > Apps > Norton 360.

Yes Peter , everything else was protected as expected and I think it did appear on top, but I'll try to reinstal it and see....

As part of the install process were you prompted to turn on the Norton App Service in the Accessibility section of Android Settings?

Yes Peter , and I did...

(Although I does not really matter: I also have to note that this website does not work properly: impossible to display the menu bar nor my profile. The only way I can log out is to delete my browser history! And it's not my phone which works well)

Others have reported issues with the forum software and the menu bar and the reply editor after a post is saved. I have reported this in the past. What I find is refreshing the page gets these features back.
