Time Restrictions Reached with 0 hours online

I am getting time restrictions reached notifications first thing in the morning when my daughter logs on. I am having to give all day extentions every day so she has access to her phone.

This is a reoccurring issue on Android devices every 30 days or so. Please resolve this since i end up giving all for rest of the day EVERYDAY. Kind of defeats the entire purpose of installing Norton.

I Uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Now her accessibility keeps turning off. This app used to work so well, now it seems pointless

I turned it on and it still keeps happening. The accessibility keeps turning itself off. This didn't happen until i uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I don't understand why this is happening all of a sudden. What is the point of the app anymore?

Hi @ash.meier01,

Many Android phone manufacturers have battery optimisation mechanisms in their settings to maximise the battery life on your device. Sometimes, battery optimisers can end up disabling important functions for apps on your device, including accessibility. 

Please ensure Norton Family is excluded from battery optimisation setting. You can check this by

  • Open settings and select apps.
  • Search and select Norton Family app
  • Click on battery
  • Use Details must be unrestricted
