Your Norton product repeatedly prompts you to allow and enable Full Disk Access, even after enabling it on your Mac. It is an operating system issue that occurs whenever you open your existing Norton product after upgrading your operating system to macOS 13 (Ventura).
To avoid receiving repeated Norton Full Disk Access prompts, remove and enable the Norton System Extension again.
Before following the below steps make sure that you close your Norton product if it is already opened on your Mac.
-
Open your Norton device security product.
-
In the Full Disk Access prompt, click Open Settings.
-
In the Full Disk Access window, select "Norton System Extension" from the list and click the minus icon
at the bottom.
-
Type your Mac administrator account password or use Touch ID, and then click Modify Settings.
Norton System Extension will be re-added to the list with the slider turned off in the Full Disk Access window. Proceed further with the below steps, even if Norton System Extension is missing in the list.
-
Close the System Settings window.
-
Close and re-open your Norton device security product.
-
Click Open Settings in the Full Disk Access prompt.
-
In the Full Disk Access window, next to Norton System Extension, move the slider to Turn On.
-
Type your Mac administrator account password or use Touch ID and then click Modify Settings.
-
Navigate back to the Norton product window and click Complete.
