I presently have 5 licences available on my subscription, but have only ever used four.
I have just removed one device, which is now defunct, so I now only require 3 licences.
Can I change the NUMBER of Licences on my subscription and reduce my cost?
If so, how do I do this, please.

Norton subscriptions have set number of devices that can be covered. Depending on your geographic market, the next lower subscription from the Deluxe with 5 devices would be a subscription for 1 device. So you would end up having to purchase 3 separate subscriptions. It would be less expensive to keep what you have.
If you still want to change a current subscription, you will need to contact Norton Support and ask them to make the changes. www.norton.com/contactcs If using the chat function, as soon as you can enter any information, enter "agent please". That will get you out of the chat bot and connected to a human.

Peter, thank you for your reply to my first post.
I am in Australia, where a 3-device subscription seems to be available, at lower annual cost than my existing 5-device subscription. Plus, there would be the benefit of the "first-year" discount.
However, I am guessing that switching that way would involve uninstalling Norton360 from each of my 3 machines, then having to download and install the new subscription onto each. I would prefer to avoid that hassle if I can.
I've got about a month before renewal of my present subscription is due, so I'll give this a bit more thought.

As you are close to renewal, be sure you have gone into your Norton Account and disabled the automatic renewal of your current subscription. If you are not able to turn it off, you will have to contact Norton Support because the auto renewal may already be in progress. If you do this, you can ask the agent to process the purchase at the new customer price and combine any time from the old subscription.
There is no need to reinstall your 360. You can just enter the new product key into your product.

Hi again Peter, and thanks.
Auto-renewal is "ON", but my credit card details require updating, so I think I have that aspect covered (I have been holding off providing them for this very reason). Have been receiving many requests from Norton to update them, so I feel safe there.
Good to know that on changing to / purchasing a new subscription, re-installation is not necessary.
I decided to follow your earlier suggestion and go to www.norton.com/contactcs, then attempt to get in touch with an actual person. It all seemed to go OK, to the extent that I received a Case Number, a Verification Code, and a 1800-###-### telephone number to contact. "GREAT!" I thought, until I dialled the number and was told that the number could not be connected. I tried it with a "1" prefix for the USA, still no success.
So my next question is: is there some trick or special procedure for dialling a 10-digit number beginning with 1800, please?
Pretty frustrating to have got up to the hurdle, only to find that it can't be cleared (by me, at least!)

I would not rely on your credit card information needing updating to protect you against the auto renewal. Not sure of the rules in Australia, but in North America the credit card companies have agreements with companies that have recurring charges for their customers where they will send through the updated expiry date to the company. That guarantees continued service for the customer. So I would turn off the automatic renewal.
You should be able to choose an Australian number. I have seen it reported that the toll free 1-800 phone numbers to the US do not work correctly from Australia. I would try the Chat feature. As I noted above, as soon as you can enter information, enter Agent Please to get out of the chat bot.

There is no one in the forums that can access your Account, or offer any subscription price discounts. When I saw the panel that you show, with Case ID and then "Chat Now", I initially thought that clicking on "Chat Now" would just take me back to the ordinary Chat session. But I think you have pointed out that I should have clicked on that, and been ready with my CaseID and Verification Code.
Instead, I tried to ring the 1800 -###-### number, and got nowhere.
So I will try "Chat Now" if I have another try.
