Can't log in over satellite connections

Hughes satellite is the only ISP available where I live. When I try to log into my password manager it just works for a minute and then closes without logging in. When I try to log into my main Norton 360 account I have to try 8-10 times before the recaptcha server will connect. If I can get a temporary cell phone hotspot to work the logins work normally. We need a login process more tolerant of the 2-3 second latency inherent in satellite connections. I am using the latest Windows 10 version on a Dell desktop PC.
