My VPN is always shutting off. I tried different settings..manual an automatic. I find that manual works best because, automatic doesn't stay on at all. Every time, I turn around, I get a red X popping up on my screen, telling me that my VPN is shut off again.

There have been some modifications to the VPN for Android that I have noticed.
I use the manual setting and it does stay on for a long time now even if I disconnect from the network and reconnect to a new network. To me this is a better option than Automatic which will only connect when it decides the network is insecure. My VPN remains on almost always and occasionally I have to reset it to on.
