Interaction with Google Family Link

I previously used Google Family Link on my childrens' devices. I needed more functionality, so I have installed Norton Family. It is unclear, though, whether Norton Family actually just uses Family Link to implement the policies, or whether the two are completely independent. I am seeing cases where Norton Family seems to be in conflict with Family Link. Do I need to "undo" all the Family Link settings? Do I need to disable Family Link so it does not interfere with Norton Family? I cannot find any documentation on the interaction between Norton Family and Google Family Link.

Thanks for reaching out to the Norton Family forum.

Norton Family does not have any dependency on Google Family Link. However, we do not recommend running more than one parental control as the apps would end up competing for the same resource.
