How do I ensure that Norton Crypto is off... for good?

I go into Norton Crypto, and an presented with an "Agree" statement, which I have NOT clicked on.  Is that enough to ensure the Norton Crypto is OFF, for good?

Re: How do I ensure that Norton Crypto is off... for good?

I am getting REALLY sick of the Norton interface.  1.  I don't even know what product I have anymore (I THINK its Norton 360).  I get hit with ads to "upgrade" to Norton 360.  Constantly getting popups to buy this or add that.  When I open my Norton product.  I see "My Norton."  The taskbar says "norton 360".  At the top of the window it says "Norton Crypto" and it says "Mining" in green and the little icon is rotating.  If I click on that, another window opens that says "Norton Crypto" and its green and it says "Status: Mining Ethereum"  It implies that it is mining.  There is a Pause button.  I hit Pause and one of the options is "Turn off Miner".  So I turn it off. close the window. and "My Norton" screen says "Norton Crypto" "mining (in green) at the top of the screen.  Am I mining????  Jeez.  The user interface on Norton has been bad for a while but its gotten AWFUL.  BTW, I don't want my machine mining...EVER!!!  How do I kill it??

If you hit "Turn off Miner" then it is no longer mining.

Also note that, you must have initially accepted the terms of mining and started it, as it is an opt in feature.
