Update Failed Error

I have Norton 360 installed on an iMac 21 inch late 2015 running Catalina 10.15.7 with 16GB RAM. When running live update I get an update failed error. The notice advises to try later or to click on more info. This links to the instructions to remover Norton and run the removal tool, all of which I have done but the error persists.
I have reset the SMC and NVRAM without benefit.
Any ideas how I might fix this please?
