Activating auto renewal subscription did not provide access to Utilities Premium

Hi all,

I activated my auto renewal for Norton 360 premium. I did this because on my dashboard, it specifies that this will unlock Norton Utilities premium.

However, Utilities premium is still showing as disabled.

I called the customer service number, but they did not understand the issue and instead tried to upsell me a separate subscription to Utilities premium. I didn't feel like arguing the point. These images show what I'm referring to:

Thanks

The Norton live chat went up again so I tried that instead of calling. Very helpful rep Chandan fixed the issue quickly

Re: Activating auto renewal subscription did not provide access to Utilities Premium

Just be aware that Norton has changed the free Norton Utilities Premium, NUP, for auto renewing 360. The offer is no longer in effect, which is why the first rep could not help. If you currently have a 360 subscription with auto renewal turned on, and you have already activated the free NUP, you will be able to continue using it until one of the following occurs.

  • You turn off auto renewal for your 360 subscription, even if you turn it on again you will not be able to activate NUP
  • You have to reinstall your 360 for any reason
  • Your current 360 subscription ends. Even after auto renewal, the NUP will stop working

It sounds like the second rep you contacted found a work around for you this time.
