Norton 360 scans and backup will not complete after installing Roxio Creator NXT 9

I installed Roxio Creator NTX 9 on my computer. Since then Norton 360 will not complete any scans or back ups. when I uninstall Roxio Creator, Norton works fine. Is there a setting in Norton that I need to adjust so that Norton and Roxio can work in harmony?
