Firefox' Norton AntiTrack extension says, "We're unable to communicate with your AntiTrack App"

We only use Firefox, because we are concerned about Internet privacy and security.

Unfortunately, although we were able to install the AntiTrack extension in Firefox, we keep getting the message, "We're unable to communicate with your AntiTrack App," and the service link goes to a general support page with no related information.

How can we use this extension?  If it does not work, Norton should not offer it.

We have the latest versions of Windows 11 and Firefox.

Thanks for the link.

Norton should have specified in the information for the extension that there is a required Windows app also.

No problem, I'm glad to help. I'm wondering how you got the extension without the app? Since I've never been able to get it without the app installed.
