Threats Detected?

SECOND TIME POSTING - is it normal for me not to get any response since 04/18?

I have several questions. 

I get a popup several times a day (almost every few hours) stating "ACTION REQUIRED...THREAT DETECTED".  I've done some internet research and don't understand the ramifications of what these mean.  I have multiple SecurityRisk.gen1 and PUA.Gen.2 notices.  I can't decipher any data from your sites or on the net that helps me understand what these really mean.
Do I need to remove these?
Are these really threats I need to worry about? 
How do I classify and identify what is actionable?  Do I need to remove them without knowing why?

I don't see an "IGNORE" button.  I can only "GO" or "APPLY TO ALL" or "CLOSE" the screen which just pops up later again anyway.

If I do remove them, is it possible that I might lose some other application functionality that I may need in the future?
Can they be RESTORED or UN-QUARANTINED later?

Curious, what does Export Results show? 
Note: Exclude is Recommended Actions

Were my machine and I had no idea what prompted Norton to react. 
I'd opt Fix -> Apply All
Then I'd review Security History -> Resolved Security Risks/Quarantine

Maybe, you picked up a PUA, a Possibly Unwanted Application. While they are annoying, they do not cause damage to your system. Some people actually want the 'Features' offered by these programs. They are usually downloaded alongside a legitimate download when you do not uncheck the option for the additional download.
Norton products concentrate on malware that can damage your system, that is why some PUPs are not detected.  (credit peterweb)

What does is say in history? Malicious browser? If you do not find anything in History it could be chrome/edge notifications. All in all we need more info to advise you...
