Start Up GFails

I have Norton 360 8.7.4on my MacBook Pro.   I think I have a virus which prevents it from opening Norton. .It no longer shows in my Applications. I downloaded Norton 360 again and got a "Successful" message but it still does not show in Applications and tries to open for 2 seconds and then closes.

Have you given all permissions in system preference - Security and Privacy - Privacy tab - Full disk access - Check the fields N360, Norton install and Norton extensions. Also under Tab General, allow Norton. If this doesn't work try re-installing Norton with the RMAC tool : https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/kb20080427024...
