Norton Quarantined Safe files, now I cant find the Quarantine location?

Ok, so ran a scan on a file folder on my Desktop, knowing full and well that every file was safe and did not contain anything untoward.
Norton had other ideas and quarantined 4 files (drivers as it happens). I need these drivers as they are for 2-way Radios (Hand Talkies or HT's) that I use regularly and need to be able to "Grab and go" with the folder on a fly-drive (USB stick usually) when being away from my own machine. Yes, I always check if a computer will be available for my use wherever I am to save having to lug my own about.
I never store the file folder on a USB drive unless I need the files with me, afterwards formatting the USB drive for other uses once it is transferred back to one of my computers.
(This is on top of the Norton VPN NEVER WORKING either on Windows or Mac - That makes it a Norton Problem, not my problem!!)
Now, before going further, I should note that I had the EXACT SAME file folder with the exact same contents on W7 and Norton ran through that on W7 and found ZERO ISSUES. I also ran it through McAfee on a different machine on a transfer USB stick and that never found any problems either! Anyone else sensing a pattern here??
I dleted the originating file folder from the original machine as well as the USB once they had been copied. It saves confusion.
The files in question are .msi install files for drivers to ensure the USB programming cables talk both to the computer and the radios properly. NO, I can not obtain them again, they were removed from the manufacturer website support area.
So to my Questions:
1) Where is the "Quarantine" area on the Mac version of the Software?
I have been around and around in circles chasing my tail within the interfaces trying to find it on the Mac.
Quarantine area on Windows? Thats easy. Mac? No so much!!!!
2) Why, when N360 for Win does NOT detect an issue nor does other software across multiple machines (see below), does N360 for mac detect an issue with EXACTLY THE SAME FILES considering them as "W32.Almanahe.B!inf"
Side Note: I have used other antivirus/anti malware/anti rootkit/anti trojan tools to scan the very same file folder BEFORE bringing across from my daily computer and none of those tools detected an issue, including McAfee on another of my machines (backup machine that I use specifically to scan USB drives). Yes, I run multiple computers and have multiple different options to scan for specific threat types across them.
