Cannot turn on VPN on one of my phones only.

Hello, my husband and I both have the same version of Norton 360 installed on our android phone. Version 5 36 0 220520002.

Android Version 12.

He can turn vpn on and off, I cannot turn it on whatever I do. I have a Samsung Notebook 10 +. I do have ExpressVPN installed on my phone, but if it is not turned on, it should not matter no? My husband has Express VPN on his phone as well.

Thanks. Regards.

It should not matter that you have Express VPN app installed. Is there a reason you need both VPN products? Try uninstalling Express VPN from your phone, restart the phone and test the Norton VPN again.

If that does not change anything, uninstall your Norton 360 from Android Settings > Apps. Find your 360 app and tap on it and tap on Storage, and clear the app's data. Then back to the app info for 360 and uninstall 360. Restart your phone and then reinstall from the Google Play Store app. Sign into your Norton Account to activate the app and then test the VPN feature.

What makes and models of phones do each of you have? If not the identical phones, there could be an issue with proprietary code in your phone's operating systems.

Re: Cannot turn on VPN on one of my phones only.

Hello,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. Android version 12, latest available for this model. My husband has a Samsung Galaxy A40, Android version 11, latest available for that model.

I paid a thousand euros for mine. He paid 1 Euro for his (with renewal of subscription). Norton VPN works on his. Not on mine  :(

I could have saved 999 Euros...

Regards.
