Continual warnings of “unsafe site” every time I use my iPad

Since the last Norton360 app update I continually get an unsafe site warning pop up. It doesn’t matter what I am doing, Twitter, Facebook, surfing the web or searching Norton Security websites. The details that come with the warning are for “ public.am.files.1drv.com:443” What is this ? Why is it continually triggering a warning ? How do I stop it ?

Re: Continual warnings of “unsafe site” every time I use my iPad

From your who is lookup, it does show Microsoft has the 1drv dot com.  So what you appear to be seeing is a link to some file on the One Drive servers, that Norton thinks may be unsafe.

Did you try clearing your browser data as I suggested? You mentioned that you are also using Twitter and Facebook. Maybe try clearing the data for those apps and test. You will have to sign into those apps after clearing the data, so be sure you have your passwords handy.

Do you use any Microsoft apps on your iPad, that might be using One Drive?

1drv dot ms would be a legitimate link to Microsoft one drive. 1drv dot com appears it might be a phishing site. I'm not sure what apps you might have that connect to the internet that might give you that redirect.

Maybe something in Safari cache??? Go to iOS Settings > General > iPhone Storage. Scroll down the list of apps to find Safari. Tap on that and then on Website Data. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap on Remove All Website Data. Restart your phone and then test to see if you still see the detection.

Thanks for the reply. Tried solution as you suggested but problem remains. I looked up the .1drv.com domain name, see attached file. Is this a valid OneDrive site ?
