Entering product key redirects me to annual renewal page.

Hello. I am having an issue trying to enter a product key for norton 360.

I previously had Norton internet security installed which I uninstalled and then downloaded the norton program from the norton website. When I enter the product key (for 360) it asks me to login to my account (which I do) and then it eventually takes me to this screen below. Why do I have to enter payment details if I have already purchased a product key? How do I skip this screen/step and just activate the product key I bought?

IF I enter payment details, will I be charged for a subscription?

Also, I am using Windows 10.

You will not be charged for any subscription.

The payment details are used for auto renew for next year. Just cancel auto renew and remove your payment details after you have setup and installed your Norton 360.

Yes you must enter auto renew payment card details in order to complete your enrollment. You will not be charged again for the subscription.

After you complete everything go back into your Norton account and shut off auto renew and remove your payment details.

Sad to say that is how it works.

So, just to clarify, if I put in my payment details (this will be the first time ever I've had to do this) will I be charged for a subscription? I don't want to be charged a subscription (even if I can cancel it and get a refund.) That would be very bothersome! Please could you clarify this point a little further?

You solved my issue/concerns 100%! I just wished they made things clearer about not being charged the time you put your details in and press submit. Again, I never had to put any payment details in when I had purchased a product key elsewhere. So confusing!

I really hate they do that.  I would be confused too if I bought a  key that way.  That's one thing I like about Yahoo Norton.
