How to fix an error with Crystal Disk Info & Data Protector?

Hello,

how can i finally stop these annoying error messages from Data Protector after updating to Crystal Disk Info vers. 8.17.4? NS 360 vers. 22.22.6.10.

Note: I'm not familiar with Crystal Disk.

as test: fresh download/install.
My Norton 360 was silent. 
My Norton 360 - Data Protector - was silent.

Just a guess. Maybe, your update process created .tmp file/s.  Maybe, Data Protector objects to the files (temporary files) created by the update process?  

Note: I've needed to turn Data Protector off to run trusted installers. Just me.

...i did, as you mentioned. I uninstalled and reinstalled CrystalDisk Info, deleted all connected folders and the problem has gone.
