I got a message on FB Messenger and clicked on the link. Am I protected by Norton on Facebook?

I got a message on FB Messenger that said, "Hey, look at what I found, a picture of you." I knew that was impossible but wanted to see what they were doing. I assumed that the link couldn't load anything on my machine because 360 was on. The next day my FB account was being used to send that same link to my "friends" as if I had sent it. Does anyone know if 360 protects you from this type of attack?

Re: I got a message on FB Messenger and clicked on the link. Am I protected by Norton on Facebook?

You should:

1/ Change Facebook Password

2/ Turn on 2FA if available

3/ Notify your contacts about the false message

You should never click on any link or photo or document that is presented to you like this. You are the first line of defense and although Norton can stop many potential problems it will not catch everything so you must be diligent in the cyber world.
