norton has a lot of softwares. i have norton 360. does it clean registry files,junk files and also trojans. .if not which (1) software covers all.

Norton 360 is all enough to keep your PC running like new. It keeps all infections away from PC, also it always monitoring/running background to keep on check of the installed files, if in case, having any kind of bug. Behavioral Protection, previously known as SONAR, keeps watching on files for suspicious behaviour.

Hello arthurf. perez. I strongly suggest that the average user NOT use ANY software that tampers with the system registry. Doing so can render your device not usable thus leading to reinstallation of your operating system and all other software installed. Norton 360 does have a registry cleanup feature, among others such as, software updater. My recommendation is to NOT use either because they both are not mature enough to trust in their present state. If you need updates to your installed software deal directly with the OEM of those software titles.
Otherwise N360 will provide you with world class protection against known and developing threats. You can check your Norton history at your leisure and see what features are doing what at a glance.

I suppose that my wording was a bit off with the last post. Norton 360 has a "scanning" feature that will produce what is shown below. It WILL NOT scan the registry then produce a solution. You will get a notification there are entries to be corrected. Thus, comes the offer for Norton Utilities which WILL scan/cleanup the system registry.
