Safeweb Screws Up Internet Order

Complained to Norton about Safeweb interfering with my internet order.  This interference made me think I had not placed or paid for the order as there was no indication of payment from the supplier.  I did the order again.  I later found out after looking at my inbox that I had placed the order twice.  I had to phone the supplier to cancel the order.  This is completely unacceptable.  The supplier was genuine so much for Safeweb.

It states this forum thread needs a solution I hope Norton will provide one so that I can use Safeweb.

What indication do you have that Norton Safe Web had anything to do with this issue? If Safe Web blocks a page, it puts up a page explaining the block.

I have recently been having strange behaviours from my Chrome browser not loading pages correctly.

Using Chrome (without Safeweb) I have not experienced problems with placing internet orders.  Safeweb interrupted the transaction flow and I did not see any supplier screens showing the order had been accepted and that the money had been taken.

I have not seen this behaviour when shopping online. And I have SafeWeb enabled all the time in my Chrome browser.

Are you seeing this on any other shopping sites? It may just be some issue with the one site.

I would suggest that if it has only been that one site, and if you can make purchases at other sites with no problem, it seems to be an issue with that site. 

I sometimes see it taking a long time for the sale/payment confirmation screen to come up. Some sites even tell you to be patient and not click twice on  buy, or pay, or whatever button completes the sale because it will cause multiple payments to be processed.

And, again, if SafeWeb were interfering with access to a web site, it brings up a warning page. You have mentioned nothing about any warning.
