Why does Norton 360 Mac keep making a Group call avdefs in System Preferences/Users & Groups?

Every time I start my Intel 2018 MacBook Pro with macOS Ventura there is a group created called avdefs in System Preferences/Users & Groups. Is this something that is supposed to happen? If I delete it the group comes back and it always groups all users. All users have a switch that can be turned off or on and it’s always off.
