Data protector blocks application although it is on process exclusions

This application that I am sure is safe is being blocked by data protector. In the process exclusions I have the path to that exe added but it still blocks it every time I try to run it.

Are you sure it is data protector that is blocking it?

Try excluding it from all scans.

I am sure that it is the data protector blocking it as the program closes and the corner of the screen says exe blocked by data protector

change file type from (*.mcf) to text (*.txt)


Maybe, exe is not signed? 

Is application free & publicly available?

Yes the applciation is free and publicly available, it is the tract profiler found here. 

The logs basically say:

Data Protector blocked a suspicious action by Tracy.exe, Excluded,No Action Required,Excluded,C:\~~~\Tracy.exe,Tracy.exe,12/27/2022 12:44:24 PM,Suspicious process attempted to modify attributes of a file protected by Data Protector

Is this it > Tracy-0.9.7z

Note: tracy.exe is not signed and Detected by Firewall

Sorry, I'm not seeing "Data Protector blocked a suspicious action by Tracy.exe"

Caveat: I'm not familiar with Tracy

Yes this is the application. When I try to view stack traces it needs to read some files or something and that is when data protector blocks it. Any way to make it not block it? I have it excluded in the process exclusions for data protector.
